Some really surprising things in there once again. Super interesting to hear everyone's interpretation and use of the sample(s).

Made it-ers:

1 FatVonFree – I feel like trapped in the desert or something.. awesome vibe, these guitars and vocals wow, track took me away for a second..
2 Donut Producer – dope track, accapella sounds super natural, perfect match, love it.
3 Lonius – love the vibe, drum levels are a little down (eg. snare misses some punch) but I have actually noticed that with a lot of entries, including my own. Overall feel: niceness.

Close but not close enough-ers:

Joa – beat is super dope, that dark(er) vibe comes out really cool, lyrics cool as always only the vocals are usually (in other tracks) better balanced tho'.
Dave Powell – drums are super tight, love it. May need some more variation here and there to keep it interesting.

One love

I will never look at a miss otis regrets cover the same again. The week had tons of fire but for me it came down to the melody and nostalgia feeling I got from the beat. Mad props to all the entries.

1.Lonius-  Used the main sample the best imho. Love the vocal chops an general vibe.

2.Donut Producer Beat just go's hard with such funk.

3. Joa Gymshoe  Ugh so good got me bouncing and the lyrics are fly a fuck

Peace

BAVNZ and SEbP's beats are nice, but it's DonutProducer's track that is jumping out at me this week.  Props. B)

..thanks for listening and voting bro.. unfortunately your votes don't count coz of the rules..

they are designed to prevent homeboy voting really, but still we adhere to them..

Ah sorry, I missed that rule!  No worries, i'm going to start contributing soon.

Seems like a nice community here and you've got some ace producers!

... maybeits time to switch to another platform ...  SoundCloud just locked my comment feature, after making ~20 comments on you ppl's tracks
I do this every friday since months, if not years, WHATS THE PROBLEM NOW???
(as seen in the screenshot "wtf.png" below, unfortunately only in german)

(Ps: ich habe die im Text erwähnte "warnende" Nachricht übrigens weder bekommen, noch bestätigt...)

At the same time I am getting followed by tons of "legit promotion agencies"
how not to manage your "community", best example: Soundcloud.

incredible one man band action going on over there in R'dam :O

close 2nd. JAKAL. thats a nice journey you're taking us on!

also close 3. Jay Mykal

Honorable mentions: [KappnEffect] & Donut Producer sick but too short in direct comparison to the other, longer contestants.
brogrimm, beantangerine, Dave Powell, FVF, Kongchain and many more!

1 per.du   really like the 7th chords and jazzy feel. want to listen to this on repeat.

2 JAKAL  solid and that second beat is sick.

3 jay mikal  old school flavor with scratching that I feel is missing nowadays.

1. 2Nite (Majestic in its simplicity. I could see this building up for 10 mins with a crescendo for the last 2-3 mins and outro )

2. brogrimm  (man real close for 1-just excellent work)

3.Perdu ( So clean!)

Shout out to Joa for the great work. Great week again. The rules allowed for all kinds of sounds. It was cool to hear what people chose. Peace, Hugh
