bazaco, you need to separate your speakers. they should probably be at about 3 or 4 feet apart. form an imaginary equilateral triangle between the left monitor, right monitor and your head. also if you want to eliminate weird bass muddiness, move them a few feet away from the wall. your music will sound way clearer. if you have those expensive event monitors you might as well maximize them...

Cool man. Thanks for the advice. And as for Ren, maaan I wish I had a small head. My head is massive. At any rate, so they should be further apart and away from the wall. Thanks for the heads up.

hahahah thats awesome is that your son?

Yeah man. Kids four years old and he's already living hiphop. He goes diggin with me every Sunday, messes around on the decks and breaks. He doesn't have the vocab to MC yet, but he's got enough energy to hype a crowd haha.

yeah... the idea behind that is to sound like you're in the audience at a live show. of course with heaphones music is a completely different experience, so its always good to mix with both. of course there's cars too and the whole surround sound thing...

Duo, I'm digging the Malcom X posters. Dialog, I'm digging the Jeru poster.

Yo, Duo have you read anyhting by Malcom? His autobiography is so good man. Plus there is this great collection of speeches and writings by him in a book titled "by any means necessary". That is a great book too.

yea try to make some sort of triangle.....the way my events are setup is about 2.5 feet apart, but they still make the triangle.....

having the monitors in that fashion will cause too muich of a resonance in your sound and you might undercompensate for your bass in your mix later.......

hell what do i know.....if your ears are used to running that kind of setup, then let it be........

why exactly is the micro-x wack?? Im looking to buy a dope synth....

its 650 dollars for a mini trition whereas you can cop a triton le 61 key for 100 more. oh and the keys arent even comparable to the triton, they feel flimsy compared to the triton.

Good lookin man. That whole wall was is a kind of Malcolm shrine. I got a bunch of posters of him on my wall.

Yeah man. I have read his autobiography...many of times. I own that. I haven't checked out "by an means necessary" though. I have heard about it, but never went to look for it. I need to make moves on that.

Im mos def diggin your setup man. I got bionic buger breaks too. How sturdy is it with your decks on the boxes like that? Do you keep stuff inside the boxes? Peace.

Yeah, those boxes are sturdy enough. I have been using them since I bought the tech's 4 years ago. What I do is put the styrofoam packaging in the box in a way that supports the decks on top.

It ain't the best way to do thangs, but it's what I'm working with.

My thing is having the decks high up. I hunching over the tables to cut and shit.

By they way, you should definitely get "By any means neccessary" I'd let you borrow it, but I'm all the fucking way out here in ATL!

Good luck finding them.
