    resample methods. what's yours?

I usually put a bunch of loops with the same essence on a bunch of pads then play them live. then use the "high mid low" but cut out certain ones and add dummie tracks. to be honest. I have no set way of doing it. I try many methods. but right now i'm stuck in loopin some drums first then layering. I link multiple gear up and use it as one. i know you guys have been wanting to know how I get down. so that's it....what's your guys' methods.

    MPC Essentials

Hey everybody, I'm creating this thread in the hopes that people will provide tips, tricks, and advice for people using MPC Essentials as well as asking questions concerning the DAW. I've been using MPC Essentials for a year now and there are still things I have yet to learn about it. I've done my fair share of searching through YouTube, Akai forums, and websites to look for answers concerning a few of my questions about the DAW with no luck. For example, whenever I finish chopping a sample and drag it into a pad bank, it creates a mute group for every pad, so whenever I attempt to layer samples or create a drum pattern, each pad cuts each other off. Rather than dragging the chops all together into an empty pad bank, I have to individually drag them onto a a single pad one-by-one. Any answers? Also, if there's already a MPC Essential thread, could someone link it to me. I'm not sure if there's a search bar specifically for the message board, but if there is, I can't find it. I'm not a huge fan of searching through 200+ pages for a specific topic when I could easily type a keyword into a search bar and click that magnifying glass.
