    1. DJ Cut-EFX - the bass pushed you into 1st but the sample arrangement was dope too especially the extra elements that come in after the silence. 2. Granny David - intro and accapella made this stand out for me and the beat had a classic edge to it. 3. Sonic - really dig the drums and cuts. I also liked the filters and fx on the samples too and noise/crackle was used to good effect. you had the best use of silence imo. Honorables - Graftaq, Axwai, per.du, Keiths Lard, DJ Agent M

Probably couldve added some extra bits to keep it moving but didnt really have time this week still really like what Ive done...good luck fuckers

This maybe some layman / noob / lazy method but I just use an empty sequence? change the t/c and/or bar length to suit and let your previous sequences reverb / delay spill over into the empty sequence. Youll probably have more fun working out the proper way but just thought Id put my two out here.

    1. elan vital - so much depth in this and the best use of a sampled vocal. Really polished entry. 2. Granny David - Surprised by the drum pattern really enjoyed the up-tempo groove on this one and the switch between the two patterns. 3. Calc - This one had a lot of darkness in it and the composition was great with the vocals brought in and out and the drums were crisp. Honorable - ruedenz, gait, salt, Brotha B, D Skillz Another increible mix of styles and genres lots of very good entries, I shortlisted 5 then went back for a second listen and voted, I couldve spent hours trying to weigh it up though. Keep it up everyone best battles on the interwebs!

Well done Fatman! great samples and rule set. Cant remember what I used from the pack but it was at least 3 different clips, chopped, filtered and manipulated plus drums! A lot of the darkness comes from my rhymes I used some horror references and mixed it up with some fictional battle shit and some real critique for mainstream bozos. Lyrics are in the description on SC if you want to read them....pzzzzzzz

    1. NiT - done it again with that minimal creep wave biz, heaps of delays and layers the transitions/breakdowns were fantastic too. Really enjoyed your beat. 2. Butta_Slick - cuts, drums and samples all sound great and that little Alchemistish switch up at the end was cool. 3. JoaGymshoe X Banizz - I took the same long sample when I first started my beat but could work it youve done really well with that section and the crunchy drums are dope. Honourable - some1, TkC, gait, Granny, LeftBOI- took it somewhere different, saltmcgault

Made something a bit softer than my last two entries. I got a lot out of the lead parts from Small Hours and used a few chops of the same section of Gekkoh for rhythm and movement then padded out the low end with Almost Home. I found it hardest to fit in Almost Hard but some filtering, FX, LFO and pitching smoothed it out used my own drums, bass and a little break work. Once again had fun putting this one together...havent listened to anyone elses yet will pass through shortly...pzzzzzzzz

    1. _.• βąℓ$ţ¥яɨȼ๏ •._ - bass/celo sound had me from the drop real ethereal biz 2. Nit - the square LFOs or chops add some gentle movement reverb/delay game is tight too 3. Kongchain - passin off some real Gangrene biz specially that bahdebahdebah mid range chop and the cuts lots of layers make this bang! Hard to pick a winner again so many dope flips honorables go to lokal, rayem , Butta Slick - not sure puns verse works but triple comes in on point, JoaGym vocals are good 'contagious like ebola' was a nice touch lol, per.du good and unexpected remix well worked in, chillwill. Thanks for the comments and likes, I think I couldve put more thought into the structure/recording of my entry but I moved with my impulsive mood...always room for improvement....peace

Cheers, dude its a great showcase for styles and its always good to be challenged and involved in a community like this. I did do something for this round but it was pretty rushed, I didnt put enough time into it and I didnt like it so it got scrapped when I powered down. Ill cop the samples next round and see what I can come up with ☮️
