    Stones Throw Fell Off?

I wouldn't exactly say they have fallen off. I mean, they release Homeboy Sandman's music, how could they haven fallen off then? There are a lot of releases I don't enjoy and care about, but there's also a lot of good music released. They need to release another rap release though besides Sandman (but dude is way too good anyway). Nowadays I prefer Mello Music Group, to be honest.

    Mr. Wonderful

Agree with Fantano and P4K. The album is okay, has its fillers but the real good tracks are like really, really good.

    New Dilla Donuts pressing

Yeah, the last Dilla record I bought was Jay Stay Paid. To be honest all the releases after that are a bit confusing and so many left-overs, random b-sides, beat scraps and what not. I really lost over sight on what's real and what isn't.

    MADLIB

Guys, I've been going through my vinyl collection lately and found my OJ Simpson record. When it came out a lot of people didn't really fuck with it and said it was average at best. I didn't really enjoy it that much on my first spins, too. It had some nice tracks, but overall wasn't cutting it for me. Now years have passed and I listened again. I like it a lot more now and this thought came up: could this be Madlib's more street version of Madvillainy? Both OJ Simpson and Madvillainy have some similarities: both are fairly unorthodox, Beat interludes, one main vocal act. I guess this comparision is a big of a strech...but eh, just random train of thought *kanyeshrug*

    New Dilla Donuts pressing

Oh damn, did you remember my name or did you look it up?! Like I said in that topic: please, please, please post more oftenly! Or better yet write a Behind The Stones Throw Scenes. Like a liner notes book about all the ST stuff we have no idea going on. Seriously, we need that! If a book isn't profitable, can't you write weekly blogs or something?

    Apollo Brown

Hahaha, glad to know I wasn't the only one getting annoyed by that track. It seriously fucks up the flow of the album to me. Otherwise a nice album. I know Apollo Brown doesn't want to change his style too much and he will stick to his formula...so I hope he won't suffer from the 9th Wonder syndrom.

    Funny Shit

That's dumb, really dumb. About 9% make up Denmark's animal prostitution tourism and they will be losing a lot of money now! And furthermore if I wants me to fuck an animal, i'll be busy in your barn Denmark.

    Why was I banned?

Sometimes it feels like PBW doesn't even want to make a profit, but then he runs the label like a dictator. But this is me talking about shit I don't know anything about and obviously I have no insight in the inner circles of the label or PBW motivations. Then again he does a lot of new and revolutionary stuff, stuff that's really forward thinking. But then you read interviews about ex artists and they really shine a bad light on the label. Whatever, I am here for the music. ST gladly takes my money, so I shouldn't complain.

    Flying Lotus - You're Dead

pretty hard to pick a favorite, but dude has evolved and progressed a lot since Los Angeles. I'm really loving this. This album has a fairly short run time, but it doesn't feel short at all.

    KA appreciation thread

1200 BC, Grief Pedigree and Nights Gambit are all hot. I never really listened to Iron Work or whatever his first solo album was called.
